The Health & Wellbeing Board

The Health and Wellbeing Board is a formal, constituted body hosted by Oldham Council that comprises not only of health and social care commissioners (like the Council and Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group) but also other local leaders such as care providers, housing providers, the police, the fire service, and the community and voluntary sector who all have a vital role in tackling health inequalities in the borough.

It is the owner and responsible body for driving the work and priorities outlined in the Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the Oldham Locality Plan.
