NHS Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group and Oldham Council are inviting patients, carers, service users and members of the public to give their opinions on improving health and social care for people living in the Borough.
The health and social care leaders are asking members of the public to come along to four workshops, happening later in July. The workshops will focus on four key areas:
- Older people’s health and social care services
- Children & Young People’s health and social care services
- Services for people with long term conditions
- Urgent Care
Dr Ian Wilkinson, Chief Clinical Officer for NHS Oldham CCG and also a Chadderton GP, said: “We are already working on improvement plans for each of these areas, but we want to know what the people of Oldham think about the changes that have happened so far, and what needs to be done in the future. We want to hear from people living in Oldham and using these services, so that we can hear their voice and take their opinions on board.”
Health and Social Care Workshop Dates
- Children & Young People – 21 July, 6pm, The Gallery, Oldham
- Long term conditions – 26 July, 6pm, The Gallery, Oldham
- Urgent Care – 28 July, 6pm, The Gallery, Oldham
