Current Activity
The Oldham Partnership commissions activity which helps to deliver against the targets contained within the Local Area Agreement or the Community Strategy. This activity has a direct impact on the quality of life of local residents.
Each block of the Local Area Agreement has a Partnership Board, which is responsible for ensuring that the targets in that policy area are delivered against. The Partnership Boards will commission activity which helps achieve the targets in the Local Area Agreement and address any gaps in delivery. Further information on the Commissioning Framework is available from the navigation menu on the left.
Government have recognised that Oldham has used the Local Area Agreement to catalyse local service delivery. The video below (produced by Government Office North West) gives examples of two such services - the Home Shopping Scheme and Bronchial Boogie - and demonstrates how they are improving the local quality of life.
