Oldham introduced a fifth block to its Local Area Agreement around Housing, to reflect the strategic importance of the policy area to the Borough.

  1. The housing block has five outcomes:
  2. Council and Housing Association properties meet decency standard by 2010 and improve decency rates in the Private Sector
  3. Services to homeless households are improved with enhanced preventative work
  4. To empower local power to have a greater voice and influence over local decision making and the delivery of services
  5. A balanced housing market offering quality and choice to all

The Oldham Partnership has commissioned activity through the Oldham Partnership Commissioning Framework which will help to deliver against the indicators within this block, and ultimately deliver the strategic outcomes listed above. Details of some of the commissioned activity is listed below:
