Change Theory: Enabling children and young people to lead healthy, active lives and be highly skilled, educated and socially responsible.
The Children and Young People Partnership is a statutory body established to secure the five Every Child Matters outcomes through the indicators shown in the Children & Young People block of Oldham's LAA and the Children and Young People Plan. The Children & Young People Executive Board leads on the strategic direction of the Children & Young People Partnership and Oldham's Childrens Trust arrangements, and it's membership is made up of the following individuals and organisations:
The Executive Board is supported by a Joint Leadership Team - a multi-agency group which represents the lead operational managers from all the partners who are responsible for delivering the Local Area Agreement and Children and Young People Plan. The Joint Leadership Team will plan, develop and implement effective services for children and young people in the Borough. The Children and Young People Partnership has also recently established an Integrated Commissioning Group. This multi-agency group is charged with the task of setting an agreed strategic direction for comissioning services for children and young people against the priorities identified in the Children and Young People Block of the Local Area Agreement and the Children and Young People Plan.
