The Commissioning Framework has been designed by Deloitte after careful consideration with the Oldham Partnership. The Framework is the mechanism through which the Oldham Partnership will ensure that programmes and initiatives work towards the strategic priorities of the Borough, as defined in the Local Area Agreement. A Drat Commissioning Guide has been produced to illustrate the Oldham Partnership's approach to commissioning.
Each Partnership Board (which reflect the blocks of Oldham's LAA) will use this process to commission activity. The Partnership Boards will also select how they want to govern these arrangements.
A Community Engagement Commissioning Group has been established to look at activity which cuts across more than one block of the LAA, such as Culture and Community Engagement. Members of this group include representatives from each block of Oldham's LAA. For a full membership list and minutes of the meetings, please click here.
